Donna Marie Garrett, age 53, of Chipley, Florida, passed away Sunday, December 22, 2024. Born on February 9, 1971, in Bay County, Florida, Donna was the cherished daughter of Kenneth Joe Garrett and Sharon Lea Earl Garrett. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, and friend whose love and warmth touched the lives of all who knew her. Donna was a true example of love, selflessness, and unwavering devotion. Known as the world’s best momma, Nonna, and friend, she gave of herself without hesitation, always putting others first. Whether it was celebrating a birthday, attending a wedding, or gathering with family during the holidays, Donna’s presence was always felt, even if she was fashionably late—she made sure to show up when it mattered most. Her love for her family and friends was limitless, and she was a constant source of support, encouragement, and care. Donna’s deep, nurturing heart was her greatest gift, and her wisdom and guidance will continue to live on in the hearts of those she leaves behind.
Donna will be deeply missed by her children, Gabby Adkison, Allen Gimenez, Joey Gimenez, Hunter Terry, and Hannah Terry. She is also survived by her father, Kenny Joe Garrett; her sister, Threasa; eleven grandchildren who adored her, Anna, Talia, Maddie, Sal, Daisy, Karson, Brayden, Aviry, Isaac, Salem, and Karma; and David Hackman and Aly Earl, who she embraced as her own; and many nieces, nephews, friends, and loved ones. "A mother's love is always with her children. Losing a mother is one of the deepest sorrows a heart can know, but her goodness, caring, and wisdom live on like a legacy of love that will always be with you. May that love surround you now and bring you peace."
