Donald Keith Saylor, age 83, of Destin, Florida went to be with the Lord on May 23, 2020. He was born in Connellsville, Pennsylvania on January 23, 1937 to his parents, Otis and Grace Wolford Saylor. Don faithfully served in the US Army and married the love of his life, Barbara Gregg Saylor.
Don graduated from Juniata College in Huntingdon, Pennsylvania and began his life as a chemist with Joseph Bancroft and Sons Company. He spent the bulk of his career with the Union Carbide Corporation before transferring to Amoco Performance Products Division where he retired as Regional Sales Manager. Don loved golfing with his friends, his membership with the Active Retired Men of Destin (ARMOD), serving as an usher and active member at United Methodist Church of Destin, and bowling with his wife since the day they first met. Don adored his family, especially his granddaughters. He will be greatly missed.
Don is survived by his loving wife, Barbara Gregg Saylor of Destin; son, Gregg (Carol) Saylor, of Dayton, Ohio; son, Gary (Tanya) Saylor of Destin; granddaughters, Ashley and Grace Saylor, of Dayton, Ohio; and granddaughters, Lana and Shelby Saylor of Destin; twin brother, Harold (Sharon) Saylor, of Cincinnati, Ohio; one niece, three nephews, and a host of family, friends and loved ones.
