Donald Lee Carroll

Donald Lee “Duck” Carroll, age 72, passed away Wednesday, June 24, 2026, in Chipley, Florida.  He was born September 14, 1953, in DeFuniak Springs, Florida to the late Walter Thomas and Ida Lee Slay Carroll.  In his spare time Donald enjoyed listening to country and gospel music and fishing.  Most of all he loved spending time with his nieces and nephews.

Donald is preceded in death by his parents, Walter Thomas Carroll and Ida Lee Slay Carroll; twin sister, Donna Louise Carroll; and six other siblings, Thomas Edward Carroll, Leroy Carroll, Geanelle Tate, Wilton Walter Carroll, Shirley Ann Carroll, Roger Walter Carroll, and Shirley Lunell Hattaway.

He is survived by one brother, Jimmy Ray Carroll and wife, Linna Carroll; and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 1, 2026, at Reedy Assembly of God Church, 1310 Reedy Road, Westville, Florida, beginning at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Danny Burns officiating.  A time of visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Committal services will follow in Reedy Church Cemetery.
