Delores Marie Fitzgerald

Delores Marie Fitzgerald, known to family and friends as “De” passed away Wednesday, April 28, 2021 at her residence in Santa Rosa Beach, Florida at the age of 72.  She was born September 11, 1948 in Spokane, Washington to Charles and Marie Glassley.  De really enjoyed fishing, riding her trike motorcycle, and picking up her crochet needles and calmly crocheting the time away. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends most of all. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

She is preceded in death by her husbands, William Disler and Russell Davies; two sons, Danny and Charles Disler; one stepson, Robbie Fitzgerald; and two sons-in-law, Keith Heinemeyer and Brian Alaniz.

De is survived by her loving husband of thirty-six years, Robert Fitzgerald; four daughters, Leona Heinemeyer (Rob Durby), Sara Disler, Mechelle Talcott and husband Donnie, and Susan Alaniz; two daughters-in-law, Candie Fitzgerald-Price and Keri Disler; seventeen grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; one brother, Jerry Mansfield-Glassley; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, May 2, 2021 at the Glendale Memorial Nature Preserve at 2:00 p.m.
