Deborah Ann Wood

Deborah (Debbie) Ann Souto Wood, beloved sister of Cindy, Sandra, Carla and Mark, entered the arms of her beloved Savior on April 20, 2026.

Debbie was born in Mobile Alabama on October 10, 1951, to Carlos (Cobbie) and Jackie Souto. After moving to Ft Walton Beach, she graduated from Choctawhatchee High School. During her senior year, she volunteered at the Eglin Base Chapel as the Chaplain’s secretary, as part of the Cooperative Business Education Program. From there she went to the Eglin Hospital, and worked as a budget analyst until she medically retired.

Debbie’s greatest joy was being an aunt to her nieces and nephews, Daniel, Melanie, Bethany, Alex, Shannon, Ashley and Kristyn.

The family will have a private celebration.
