Deborah Daniels Obituary

On January 17, 1961, Deborah Denise (Tyree) Daniels was born in Alexandria, Virginia. She spent her early years surrounded by siblings and friends, enjoying a childhood filled with laughter, adventure, and all the simple joys of growing up. She lived most of her childhood in Colorado, where her story eventually led her to meet the love of her life, Ray.

Dee and Ray built a beautiful life together and were blessed with five wonderful children. Dee devoted herself wholeheartedly to her family. Whether it was a pep rally, field trip, school play, spelling bee, scout meeting, or band concert — she was there. Her children always knew they had their biggest supporter in the front row.

As a proud military wife, Dee faithfully supported Ray throughout his career, embracing the opportunities and adventures that came with military life. She was a devoted wife, a loving mother and grandmother, and a loyal friend. Her spunky spirit was contagious, bringing laughter and light to everyone around her.

Dee had a special love for celebrations and traditions. She especially cherished Halloween and Día de los Muertos, transforming her home from top to bottom with festive decorations for every holiday. Her home was always warm, welcoming, and full of life — just like her.

Our mom faced cancer with remarkable courage, grace, and an unwavering positive attitude. Cancer did not define her, nor did it defeat her spirit. She fought bravely, and we are incredibly proud of her strength. We can only hope to carry forward that same resilience as we learn to navigate this new chapter without her physical presence.

Dee was preceded in death by her daughter, Elizabeth Daniels; her brother, Terry Tyree; her sister, Charmaine Diaz; her father, Glenard Tyree; and her mother, Janet Tyree.

She leaves behind her adoring husband of 47 years, Raymond; her sons, Justin, Eric, and Travis; her daughter, Kathryn; her nephews, Raymond and Robert; and her beloved grandchildren, Lillian and Mason.

Our family is deeply grateful for the love and support shown during this difficult time and in the days ahead.
