Dave Eubank, Jr. Obituary

Nathaniel David Eubank, Jr., better known as “Dave,” age 51, from Navarre, Florida, passed away on June 9, 2025.  He was predeceased by his grandparents, Allie Harriet Eubank, Sr., Annie Brannon Eubank, Floyd Escoe, Willa Dean and Quinton Jones.  He is survived by his wife Vickie, his children Rosa Eubank, Maddison Eubank, Hayley Eubank and son, Gavyn (Arleigh) Simmons.  He also leaves behind his mother Wanda Green, his father Nathaniel David Eubank, Sr., and siblings Sandi Eubank Gregory (Jason Bonar), John Brannon Eubank, and Allie David Eubank, along with niece Parker Gregory and nephews, Tony Bonar and Jaxon Eubank along with other nieces and nephews. Dave was fortunate to become a first-time grandfather in August 2024, a role he cherished beyond measure, to Oliver Gray Simmons or “OG” as he liked to refer to him as.

Dave was born in Montgomery, Alabama and moved to Fort Walton Beach, Florida in his early years.  Despite growing up in Florida, his heart remained in Alabama where he became a steadfast and number ONE Alabama Football Fan.

Everyone who knew Dave knows that he loved his family with ferocity.  His children were the love of his life, and he would move mountains to take care of them and to make sure they knew they were loved. Dave loved to cook and entertain family and friends – often grilling meats and cooking sides, far more than necessary, but to make sure that everyone who attended was adequately fed.

Dave had a rock-solid foundation of friends. Among his many friendships was the infamous “fab 5,” as they liked to call themselves. Prentice Gamble, Kevin Brockman, OscarCampbell, and Jamalca Young rounded out this rowdy group. They had an unspoken brotherhood and have continued to be there for one another through thick and thin.

Dave will always be remembered by his infectious smile and his generous heart of gold; he will always be a true friend and loving husband, father, son, brother, uncle, and grandfather.

The family request's that everyone please show your love and support by wearing formal Crimson and Black.
