Daniel Wayne Lindsey, age 50, of Ponce de Leon, Florida, passed away on February 15, 2025. He was born on September 23, 1974, in Geneva, Alabama, to Dan Wesley Lindsey and Martha Sue Thomas Lindsey. Daniel was a man of many talents, known for his love of mudding, fishing, and hunting. He cherished spending time with his family and friends, always ready to lend a hand with his knowledge and skills as a true "jack of all trades." He also had a wonderful sense of humor that brought joy to everyone around him.
Daniel was preceded in death by his sister, Margie McBryde; his brother, John Thomas McBryde; his father, Dan Lindsey; and his sister, Angel Lindsey.
He is survived by his mother, Martha Locklear; his children, Chrishane Smith, Dallas Griswell (Katie), Kayla Boyington, Danielle Lindsey, Breanna Alred (Austin Callahan), Dan Lindsey, and Matthew Tucker; brothers, M.J. Locklear and Steven Lindsey; one sister, Virginia Locklear; eight grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, friends, and loved ones who will miss him dearly.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, February 25, 2025, at Reedy Assembly of God, 1310 Reedy Road, Westville, Florida, with Pastor Randon Carroll officiating. A time of visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.
Daniel’s memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew him. His kindness, humor, and adventurous spirit will never be forgotten.
