Dana Allan Young, age 50, of Navarre, Florida, passed away on June 9, 2026. He was born on January 13, 1976, in Dever, Colorado.
Dana was a talented actor in his youth, appearing in a number of roles during his teenage years. He carried a lifelong appreciation for the arts and was especially passionate about music, which remained an important part of his life.
He found joy and peace on the water, spending time fishing and kayaking along the Gulf Coast. Whether enjoying the ocean's beauty or sharing stories with family and friends, Dana appreciated life's simple pleasures.
Dana's life included both accomplishments and challenges. Those who knew Dana will remember his creativity, his love of music, and his connection to the water.
Dana will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him. May his memory bring comfort to those who loved him.
He is survived by his son, Augustine Young; daughter, Ava Young; father, Ken Young; mother, Jan Castle; sister, Amy Truax; brother, Adrian Young; niece, Callie Young; and extended family members.
