Cynthia Glendora (Chase) Swing

It is with incredible sorrow that we announce the passing of Cynthia Glendora (Chase) Swing on Tuesday, May 6, 2025. Cynthia was called home by her Lord and Savior. She was 65 years old; born on October 31, 1959, at Baptist Hospital in Pensacola, Florida to Phronie Elizabeth (Mathews) Chase and Robert Edward Chase, Sr.

Cindy is survived by her loving husband, Dwight Douglas Swing, of Crestview, Florida; daughters, Wendy Elizabeth Nelson (Phil) of Buffalo, New York, and Jamie Lyn Gerber (Travis) of Panama City, Florida; as well as son, Trenton Andrew King (Randi) of DeFuniak Springs, Florida. Other survivors include brother, Robert E. Chase, Jr.; sister, Devi Weems; and several cousins and special friends. Cindy loved her thirteen grandchildren very much.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Phronie Elizabeth (Mathews) Chase; and father, Robert Edward Chase, Sr.

Cindy had a love of fishing, crafting, photography, and antiquing.

In lieu of flowers, you are encouraged to make a donation to the American Heart Association in Cindy’s name.

A celebration of life service to honor Cindy will be held at 2:00pm at Davis Watkins Crestview Memorial, 492 East Pine Avenue, Crestview, Florida on Saturday, May 31, 2025, with Reverend Donnie Cadenhead Officiating. A time of visitation will be held one hour Prior.
