Coy D Collier

Coy D. Collier, age 55, of DeFuniak Springs, Florida passed away Sunday, May 5, 2019.  He was born November 28, 1963 at Eglin Air Force Base, Florida to Ralph and Carlene Collier. Over the span of 20 years, he was a foster father for over 40 children. His favorite pastime was fishing and he enjoyed the art of bartering, the oldest form of commerce.

He is preceded in death by his father, Ralph Collier.

Coy is survived by his mother, Carlene; two brothers, Don’el Collier and wife Debbie of Colorado and Carlton Collier of Crestview, Florida; one sister, Pamela Peake and husband Harry of Texas; four nephews; one niece; and former wife, Kimberly Collier of Ft. Walton Beach, Florida.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, May 18, 2019 at his mother’s residence, 3823 Highway 90 East, Crestview, Florida 32539 beginning at 1:00 p.m. with a time of visitation starting at 11:00 a.m.
