Claude Burleson Obituary

Claude John Burleson, passed away Tuesday, January 21, 2020, one month after turning 92 years of age, in Ft. Walton Beach, Florida. He was born December 21, 1927, in Pensacola, Florida and had been a resident of DeFuniak Springs, Florida for the past 30 years. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy during World War II. Family and friends will remember Claude for his very loving and caring nature, a gentleman who never met a stranger.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Wilder W. and E. Margaret Burleson; two sons, Claude Burleson Jr., and Todd Burleson; and two brothers, William W. and Jovine Francis Burleson.

Claude is survived by his loving wife to whom he was married for 39 happy years, Sharon Burleson; one daughter, Linda Aaron of Seattle, Washington; grandchildren and great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; extended family; and many wonderful friends who will hold him dear in their hearts and memories.
