Clarence Baklarz, lovingly called C-man, of Santa Rosa Beach, Florida, at the age of 94, passed away on January 7, 2025. He was born on January 13, 1930 to Anna (Schubert) and Ben Baklarz in Braddock, Pennsylvania.
Clarence served in the United States Air Force and attended the University of Pittsburgh. He was a coal mine engineer.
He resided in the Pittsburgh area until 2014; then making his home in Santa Rosa Beach, Florida.
Clarence loved life; he enjoyed music, golf, parties, and was dubbed "Destin's Oldest Rock Star" by our dear friend, Rusty.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia; two daughters, Diane (Bill) Grossman, and Laura (Rich, deceased) Carver; and one stepson, Jason Diblasio. He is also survived by three grandchildren, John Van Lenten, Jennifer (Van Lenten) Chapman, and Brian Smouse; and seven great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by wife, Joanne (Klein); and brothers, Ben, Leonard, Conrad, Ralph, and Ron.
Clarence will be greatly missed!
