Cindy Dianne Welch

Cindy Dianne Welch, age 65, gained her wings and reunited with her husband on Saturday, April 5, 2025. She was born May 26, 1959, in Quincy, Florida to John Taylor Horton and Carol Sanders.  Cindy enjoyed painting but most of all she loved spending time with her family.

She is preceded in death by her loving husband of forty-nine years, Jesse Welch; father, John T. Horton; and brother, Cliff Horton.

Cindy is survived by her daughter, Beverly McFadden; son, Jesse Welch, Jr.; three stepsons, John Welch (Belinda), Chris Welch (Amanda), and Brian Welch (Johanna); her mother, Carol S. Blocker; twelve grandchildren, Kalisa, Layne, Jesse, III, Kaitlyn, Alyssa, Hadlee, Reagan, Kelcee, Kylee, Destiny, Elijah, and Finley; nine great-grandchildren, Madyson (Monkey), Nevaeh, Raelynn, Arabella, Ryker, Archie, Cali, Tristen, and Alayah; one sister, Teresa A. Curtis; and a special nephew, Thomas Green; along with many other family and friends.

A time of visitation will be held Tuesday, April 8, 2025, in the chapel of Davis-Watkins Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, April 9, 2025 in the chapel of Davis-Watkins Funeral Home, 1474 State Highway 83 North, DeFuniak Springs, Florida 32433 beginning at 11:00 a.m. with Minister Joel Davis officiating.
