Christine M. Schreiner Neal of Pensacola, Florida, passed on to Heaven in February. Christine was born in Topeka, Kansas to Lee R. and Jean Nelson Schreiner. They were descendants of farmers who settled in Kansas in the 1800s.
Christine graduated from Kansas State University with a degree in Business Marketing. She was a homemaker most of her life, often wowing family and friends with delicious meals. She was truly a gifted cook. Christine completed lovely cross-stich pictures for family members. Her card-playing abilities are memorable. Christine and Carolyn Lee, her friend at Northpointe Retirement Community in Pensacola, were a formidable card-playing duo. Christine loved many beautiful things. Her favorite movie was Ghost and she loved the beautiful theme song, Unchained Melody.
Christine is survived by her husband, Paul; children, Katie Jean Shepherd and Clint P. Neal; grandchildren, Ava Shepherd and Liam Shepherd; her siblings, nephews, and a great-niece.
No service will be held. In lieu of flowers, donations to the World Wildlife Fund are encouraged. Christine strongly believed in fighting to save the Manatees and the Great Cats of the world.
