Chloe Lynn Chalker, age 18, passed away Thursday, July 9, 2026. She was born November 27, 2007, in LaGrange, Georgia to Steven Chalker and Tabitha McDonald-Johnson. After completing high school, Chloe went on to begin her career as a CNA in Home Health Care with a desire to continue her medical career helping others by becoming a nurse. In her spare time, she enjoyed being outdoors, going to the beach, amusement parks, haunted house with her dad, and swimming at the local creek or springs. Chloe collected crystals and was knowledgeable about essential oils. Chloe never missed a chance to spend time with her beloved dogs; Miss Rebel Lee, Sir Bubba Duke, Miss Nikki Minaj, Miss Pickles Marie, and Mr. Chevy. Chloe brought so much love, laughter and light into the lives of everyone who knew her. Her beautiful spirit, kind heart and unforgettable smile will forever remain in our hearts.
Chloe is preceded in death by her grandfather, Chuck Chalker; great grandmother, Glenda Camp McKenzie; great grandparents, Bonnie and James Chalker; grandmother, Debbie Hemmings; and one uncle, Dewayne McDonald.
She is survived by her father, Steven Chalker; mother, Tabitha McDonald-Johnson and step father, Tony Johnson; sister, Skylar Hines; grandmother, Randee “Nana” Garrett; grandfather, Mark “Paw Paw” Garrett; great grandmother, Velma Barber; grandfather, David Popphan; grandmother, Mary Nell Stone; uncle, DJ Chalker; aunt, Ginger Chalker; aunt, Jesse Garrett; aunt, Lindsey Cargle; aunt, Beth Meyer; aunt, Toni Hollingsworth; uncle, Dewayne Hollingsworth; aunt, Tina Freeland; thirteen cousins, Jesse, Raychel, Gracie, William, Marissa, Elijah, Andrew, Savannah, Adrianna, Isaiah, Braxton, Gabby, and Magnolia; bonus grandparents, Frank and Dorothy McCrary; and bonus grandfather, Tony Meyer.
Cremation services will be provided by Davis-Watkins Funeral Home in DeFuniak Springs, Florida, followed by a celebration of life later by the family.
