Charlotte Faye Thompson

Charlotte Faye Thompson, age 73, passed away Monday, February 3, 2025, at her residence surrounded by loved ones.  She was born November 24, 1951 to the late Howard and Cathy Hinson in DeFuniak Springs, Florida.  In her spare time, Charlotte enjoyed crocheting, reading and spending time with her loved ones.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Howard and Cathy Hinson; brother, Frankie; father-in-law, Homer J. Thompson; and mother-in-law, Eunice Mae Thompson.

Charlotte is survived by her husband, Billy R. Thompson; six children, Tommy Thompson (Nancy); Billy Thompson Jr., Tracy Thompson (Heather), Angela Thompson (Daniel), Adam Thompson (Brittney), and Aaron Thompson (Mickey); twenty-five grandchildren; twenty-one great grandchildren; five siblings, Jeanette, Reba, John, Shirley, and Cindy; and numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, February 6, 2025, at Davis-Watkins Funeral home, 1474 State Highway 83 North, DeFuniak Springs, Florida 32433 beginning at 5:00 p.m. with Pastor Steve Taylor officiating. A time of visitation will be held one hour prior.

Arrangements and services are under the direction of Davis-Watkins of DeFuniak Springs.
