Chadd Larry Holley, 50, of DeFuniak Springs, passed away April 27, 2022, among his family. He was born May 27, 1971 in Defiance, Ohio. Upon graduation from Ayersville High School in 1989, Chadd joined the Unites States Air Force. In his time at Moody Air Force Base, he met and married Melissa and served his country as an aircraft mechanic for the F16 and F117 Stealth Jets, rising to Crew Chief, over the next 9 years. After serving, he continued to explore his love of mechanics, both in his spare time and for work throughout his life.
Chadd was preceded in death by his mother, Barbara (John) Trame; brother-in-law, Bobby Jay Greene; grandparents, Doyt and Mary Brown, and Jean and Dorothy Holley.
He is survived by his wife, Melissa Holley; children, Colt Holley and Savanna (Keith) Cornitcher; father, Larry (Mary) Holley; brother, David (Becky) Trame; mother-in-law, Violet Emery; father-in-law, Bobby (Telete) Greene; sisters-in-law, Kristen Weaver (Robby Cook), and Stephanie (Chris) Adams; grandsons, Julian and Dion Cornitcher; nieces and nephews Nora Trame, August Trame, Taylor Greene, and Riley Weaver
Barrancas National Cemetery in Pensacola, Florida will be Chadd's final resting place in a private ceremony. The family is accepting donations to help pay for medical and funeral expenses.
Arrangements and services are under the direction of Davis-Watkins Crestview Memorial.
