Carey Hamilton Lyons, Jr., age 47, passed away May 14, 2025 unexpectedly. He was born December 20, 1977 in Fort Walton Beach, Florida to Carey Lyons, Sr. and Earlene Hicks. In his spare time he loved educating himself on model trains and studying the Vietnam War.

He is preceded in death by his father, Carey Hamilton Lyons, Sr.; and grandparents, Pete and Hazel Hicks, and Walter and Virginia Rumans.

Carey is survived by his mother, Earlene Paul; sister, Barbara Beale (Dawson); and brother, James Douglas Lyons; along with several nieces and nephews.

Arrangements are under the direction of Davis-Watkins of DeFuniak Springs.
