Calvin Cory Collins Jr.

Calvin Cory Collins, Jr., affectionately known by his family as CC, friends as Tripp (triple C) and his wife as Cory, had his Sun Rise on December 17, 1991 in Fort Leonard Wood Missouri to a loving father Calvin Collins, Sr. and devoted mother, former Mariatrinidad Colibao.  His Sunset occurred early morning Sunday, December 1, 2019 in Fort Walton Beach, Florida.  He departed this life circumstantially and peacefully in his residence. 

Calvin was educated in a number of school systems, Evans International Elementary School, Colorado, Springs, CO; Wright Elementary School, Fort Walton Beach, FL; Department of Defense School system, Kadena Elementary, Kadena, Air Base, Japan, and Kaiserslautern High School, Kaiserslautern, Germany; Greenwood Middle School, Goldsboro, NC; Byron P. Steele High, Cibolo, TX; and Robert G. Cole Jr.- Sr. High, San Antonio, TX. Calvin was a talented athlete in football (Corner), basketball (point guard), baseball (first base), soccer, track and field.  Calvin accelerate academically as a member of Junior Honor Society and received the Presidential Award.  He worked several years in the fast food industry, i.e. Whataburger (Cinco Bayou).  He culminated his career as a HVAC professional and as an electrician apprentice with Henderson Electric.  His Christian affiliations were with Greater Community Mission Baptist Church, St. Roberts, Missouri; New Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Church, Fountain, Colorado; Agape Fellowship, Okinawa City, Japan; Full Assurance of Faith, Kaiserslautern, Germany and visited a number of Christian fellowships along the way.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Tiffany Collins (Fort Walton Beach, FL); children, Calvin Cory III (Shalimar, FL), Caleb James (Shalimar, FL), Chanel Malaya Mariatrinidad Collins (Fort Walton Beach and Genesis Wilson (Fort Walton Beach, FL); his father, Calvin Collins, Sr. and his wife, Aundrea (Shalimar, FL); his mother, Mariatrinidad Watson and her husband, Mark Sr. (Riverview, FL); brothers, Chamel Collins (Shalimar, FL) and Mark Watson Jr. (Riverview, FL); sisters, Jenifer McHenry (Hampton, GA), Cassarah Collins (Atlanta, GA), Shanice Watson (Panama), Marissa Watson (Riverview, FL); sister-in-law, Michelle Montique (Hampton, GA); uncles, Frank Mitchell and his wife, Debbie (Savannah, GA), Billy D. Collins and his wife, Laura (Marion, TX); aunts, Marcella Collins (Shalimar, FL), Barbara Collins (Waycross, GA); and a host of great aunts, great uncles, cousins and friends. 

A time of Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 7, 2019 from 5pm to 7pm at Davis-Watkins Funeral Home, 113 Racetrack Road, Fort Walton Beach, Florida. Funeral Services will begin at 2pm on Sunday, December 8, 2019 at Striving for Perfection Ministries, 24 Bass Avenue SW, Fort Walton Beach, FL.
