Bruce John Regan

Bruce John Regan, age 74, of DeFuniak Springs, Florida, passed away Tuesday, April 26, 2022. He was born May 31, 1947 in East Orange, New Jersey to Edward and Shirley Mullins Regan.  Bruce joined the United States Navy and later joined the Reserves. Upon completion of active duty, he served as a United States Merchant Marine and DoD civilian until his retirement in 2009. In his spare time, Bruce loved to build model ships, tinker around in his shed, and play with his German Shepherds, Samson and Delilah.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Lolita Regan, his parents, Edward and Shirley, and his best dog pal, Bear.

Bruce is survived by his older son, Dean Regan, his younger son, Ariel Regan and fiance', Taisha Santiago; granddaughters, Miranda and Kyra Regan; his brother, Ron Regan; and his sister, Kathleen.

A celebration of Bruce's life will be held  Friday, May 6, 2022 beginning at 4:00 P.M. in the chapel of Davis-Watkins Funeral Home, 1474 State Highway 83 North, DeFuniak Springs, Florida 32433. A time of visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.
