Blake Brothers Obituary

Blake Allen Brothers, age 37, passed away on April 25, 2022, at Fort Walton Beach Medical Center. He was a resident of Freeport, Florida, and is survived by his son, Isaiah Jeffery Brothers; mother, Sue Hayes Pettus; stepfather, Russell Pettus; sister, Morgan and brother, Clint; grandparents, Coy and Dorothy Brothers; grandmothers, Betty Hayes and Gail Fogleman; and extended family. He was preceded in death by his father, Jeffery Allen Brothers and grandfathers, Alan C. Hayes and Ken Pettus.

Blake loved the outdoors, fishing, gardening, reading and Alabama football. He was always cheering on his team.

The family wishes to express their deepest gratitude to the nurses and doctors on the trauma floor, Fort Walton Beach Medical Center.

Memorial service will be Saturday, May 7, 2022, at 5:00 p.m. at Ft. Panic Beach Access, 5753 West Scenic Highway 30A, Santa Rosa Beach, Florida 32459. Graveside services will be May 14, 2022, 11:00 a.m. at Brookwood Cemetery, 2237 Guntersville Road, Arab, Alabama 35016. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to his Go Fund Me account.

Blake was a kind, loving soul; such a bright light in our world that will now shine in our hearts. Until we meet again.

Arrangements and services are under the direction of Davis-Watkins Funeral Home of Fort Walton Beach.
