Billy Joe Raymond Young, age 32, of DeFuniak Springs, Florida passed away Saturday, October 3, 2020. He was born June 21, 1988 in Springfield, Missouri to Bill and Brenda Young. He had only been a resident of DeFuniak for a little over three months. He was recognized as an excellent gamer and had established many friendships while playing games with other people from all over the United States. Billy Joe enjoyed playing the saxophone. His friends agreed Billy Joe was the best friend anyone could ask for in life.

He is preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Neil.

Billy Joe is survived by one brother, Brandon; three sisters, Zylpha, Noelle, and Kayla; three nieces and four nephews whom he loved with all his heart and soul; and two incredibly special friends, Michael and Stephanie Jeffres.

In keeping with his wishes, he will be cremated with no service to be held.

Arrangements are under the direction of Davis-Watkins Funeral Home and Crematory.
