Betty Carlyle Huntington Darrin

Betty Carlyle (Huntington) Darrin, age 82, a resident of Ft. Walton Beach, Florida passed away at her home on Thursday, November 11, 2021.  Betty was born on January 22, 1939 in St. Louis, Missouri to Frederick Wendell Huntington and Thelma Jane Huntington. 

Betty graduated from Ladue High School and the University of Colorado.  She was a visitation monitor at the Judge Ben Gordon Center. Her hobbies included collecting light houses and Christmas villages.  She was a member of Shalimar United Methodist Church. 

Betty is survived by her husband, Donald O. Darrin, they were married on March 13, 1976 in Lake Tahoe, Nevada; children, Douglas R. Aho, Lori E. Lynch(Mark), Kimberly B. Van Metre(Scott); seven great grandchildren; siblings, Marilyn Bereky, Richard Huntington, Sandra Schmucher and her pets, Bitsy and Molly.  She is preceded in death by her husband, Harry L. Aho.

A Memorial Service was held on Monday, November 15, 2021 at 11:00 a.m., Shalimar United Methodist Church, Shalimar, Florida.
