Barney Winn Obituary

Mr. Barney H. Winn passed peacefully on March 8,2020 after a long fight with cancer at Fort Walton Beach Medical Center. Barney was born July 19, 1946 in Jasper County, South Carolina to Barney Henry SR and Salley Winn. He was a resident of Shalimar for the past 20 years.

Barney was a telephone cable splicer. He was a story teller of events of his past. He was a proud American and spent time in the US Coast Guard during Vietnam Era. He loved Nascar and most sports.

Barney is survived by his wife Martha Winn and son Vincent (Woody) Winn. We wish to thank Dr. King and the Oncology staff at Eglin AFB for their love and kindness during his long fight with cancer.
