Arthur Frank Thomas, Jr.

Arthur Frank Thomas Jr., age 77, passed away Wednesday, January 8, 2025, at his residence.  He was born September 3, 1947, in Florala, Alabama to the late Frank Thomas, Sr. and Esther Garrett Thomas. After school Arthur went on to serve his country by joining the United States Marines. He later worked for thirty years as a cable television technician.  After retiring, Arthur enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

Arthur is preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Esther Thomas; one son, Chuck Thomas; and two brothers, James and Charles Thomas.

He is survived by his wife, Vicky Thomas; four daughters, Lisa Thomas, Donna Farris, Katie Hayes, and Kandice Cole; ten grandchildren; three great grandchildren; one brother, Orval Thomas; one sister, Rita McCrea; his beloved dog, Tanner; and several other extended family and friends.

A time of visitation will be held Thursday, January 16, 2025, in the chapel of Davis-Watkins Funeral Home, 1474 State Highway 83 North, DeFuniak Springs, Florida 32433 from 5:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. Funeral services will follow beginning at 6:00 p.m. Military honors will be provided by the United States Marines.
