Anita Ruth Yuenger

Anita Yuenger, age 81, of Miramar Beach, Florida passed away suddenly on November 15, 2024.  

Anita studied accounting at Eastern Kentucky University and Shawnee State College. She had a versatile career that began as Controller of Hayswood Hospital in Maysville, Kentucky; later including working for an accounting firm focused on telecommunications; and she ultimately retired as the accountant for Smith’s Drug Store in Portsmouth, Ohio.
For most of her life, Anita was a social butterfly who enjoyed spending time with her friends, dining out, the occasional card game or friendly wager, and traveling.

She is survived by her daughter, Ona Colette Hull of Vanceburg, Kentucky; two granddaughters, Brittany Sullivan of Santa Rosa Beach, Florida and Halee Church of West Portsmouth, Ohio; six great grandchildren; her sister, Marsha (Lou) Reggio of Georgetown, Texas; nephews, Chris (Kathleen) Chomel of San Marcos, Texas and Justin (Tracy) Chomel of Round Rock, Texas; and many more extended family members.  Anita was preceded in death by her father, Anderson “Andy” Tucker, mother, Lucille Pribble and beloved husband, Daniel “Danny” Yuenger.

Services will be held privately.
