Angie Russ Obituary

Angie Elizabeth Russ, age 75, of DeFuniak Springs, Florida, passed away, Sunday, October 22, 2023. She was born June 28, 1948 to JB Russ and Erma Stokes in Brooker, Florida.

Angie is preceded in death by her loving husband of fifty-two years, Mahlon Bengston; her parents, JB Russ and Erma Stokes; four sisters, Irene Russ, Ilene Russ, Kendall Riddle and Permelia Ann York; and one brother, Harry Russ.

She is survived by three children, Jimmy Peters, Lori Jordan (Dwayne) and Amanda Bengston (Troy); ten grandchildren, Jessie Griffen (George), Jennie Franks, Latisha Sutton (Matt), Loranda Nelson (Kim), Robin Hall, David Hall, Billy Scott, Alyssa Scarbrough, Kolten Bohannon, and Adalyn Bohannon; fifteen great grandchildren; sister-in-law, Cindy Russ; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life for Angie will be held on Saturday, October 28, 2023 at 1502 Sexton Road, DeFuniak Springs, Florida 32433. The family asks that anyone wanting to come by, do so anytime that afternoon.
