Amy Michelle Nichols Bridges, age 38, of Fort Walton Beach, Florida has moved on to her next chapter. She was born July 5, 1984 to Stephany Case and David Nichols in Pensacola, Florida. Graduating from Choctaw High School in 2002, Amy attended Okaloosa County Community College; and devoted many years to her Waffle House family, thereafter.
Amy is survived by her mother, Stephany Case and (Pop), David Case; father, David Nichols; and grandparents, Carol Nichols and Robert Dumers. She will be deeply missed by her sisters, Angelia Veliquette (Justin), Anna Helms (Alex), Aaron Castanon (Henry), and Ashley Jacot (Brad); and brother, Bobby Nichols; as well as nieces and nephews, Christian and Mason Veliquette, Ava, Audrey and Adrian Helms, Savannah, Layla, Ava and Lorenzo Castanon, and Olivia Jacot.
Amy also leaves behind her beloved, Nick Mayfield.
Finally, she is survived by countless aunts, uncles, and cousins, as well.
Amy was preceded in death by her grandfather, Bobby S. Nichols; grandmother, Sharleen Dumers; and grandparents, Earl and Helen Case; aunts, Jennifer Legue, Karen Legue, and Cheryl Puglise; and uncles, Kevin Legue and Roger Case.
She was a proud Mama to her fur babies Kimiko and Ushi. Amy loved Japanese animation, reading, crocheting, and spending time with her bat-s**t crazy family.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, January 28, 2023 from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at Davis-Watkins Funeral Home located at 113 Racetrack Road Northeast in Fort Walton Beach.
