Alma Lee Cordle, age 92, of DeFuniak Springs, Florida passed away Friday, February 7, 2020 at Fort Walton Beach Medical Center. She was born October 11, 1927 in Leonia, Florida to the late William and Alice Carroll.
She is preceded in death by her parents; six brothers, Walter, Carley, Hollie, Willis, Angus, and Junior Carroll; four sisters, Annalee Brake, Lily Peterson, Bessie Lou McCormick, and Ida Phillips; and husband Charles Ray Cordle.
She is survived by one son, Charles Alfred Cordle and wife Teresa; seven grandchildren, James Cordle and wife Stacey, William Cordle, Lataka Williams and husband Thomas (TJ), Holly Drake, Amanda Arcabascio and husband Charlie, Jennifer Long and husband Will, and Michael Crews and wife Nikki; twenty great-grandchildren; and eleven great-great-grandchildren.
A time of visitation will be held Sunday, February 9, 2020 at Davis-Watkins Funeral Home, 1474 Highway 83 North, DeFuniak Springs, Florida 32433 from 6 until 8 p.m. Funeral services will be held Monday, February 10, 2020 in the chapel of Davis-Watkins Funeral Home beginning at 11 a.m. Committal services will follow at Leonia Cemetery.
