Alfonso Gee, II

Alfonso Gee II, age 53, passed away at 10:13 p.m. February 4, 2025, at his home in Pace, Florida. He was born April 9, 1971, in Fort Walton Beach, Florida, to Alfonso and Elizabeth Gee. Alfonso graduated from Fort Walton Beach High School and later joined the United States Army in 1992, where he served as a Finance Specialist. He was honorably discharged in 1997 as a United States Veteran. Alfonso worked as a CEI Inspector for HDR, Inc. before his passing. In his free time, he enjoyed DJing and spending time with friends and family.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Elizabeth Gee; grandmother, Elizabeth Baker; brother, Clarence Lee; nephew, Marion Holmes; and best friend, Allen “DJ Co-Lock” Hogan.

Alfonso leaves to cherish his memories his father, Alfonso Gee; three children, Devontae Gee, Aijah Gee and Cortez Mays; sisters, Cynthia Morgan, Kimberly Futrell, Sandra Lee, Donna Gee,and Six Gee; brothers, Alfonso Gee, III, Tyson Richardson, and Nitro Gee; grandchildren, Kaesyn McGhee, Gemini Henry, and Le’Vani Gee; and a host of nieces and nephews.

A very special thanks to his life partner Sherrika Duncan.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, February 19, 2025, in the chapel of Davis-Watkins Funeral Home, 1474 State Highway 83 North, DeFuniak Springs, Florida 32433 beginning at 1:00 p.m.with Minister Ernest Powell officiating. A time of visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.
