Adarian Lavon Goode

Adarian Lavon Goode, age 20, of DeFuniak Springs, Florida, passed from this life Thursday, April 21, 2022. He was born June 17, 2001 in Minden, Louisiana to Adrian Lavon Goode and Denetra Townsend. He was a 2019 graduate of Walton High School. Adarian loved sports, especially playing basketball. He was a very affectionate person, always showing how much he loved those around him. He had enormous charm and a great sense of humor. His larger-than-life personality will be greatly missed by those he left behind. 

He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Luetrishe Goode; grandfather, Henry W. Goode III; grandfather, David Townsend; godfather, Rodney Jackson; and nephew, Ansel Goode.

Adarian is survived by his parents, Adrian Goode, and Denetra Townsend (Geovandie Lewis); grandparents, Annie P. Townsend, and Milton Roberson; great-grandmother, Bernisteen Townsend; godmother, Rebecca Leon; siblings, Adrian V. Goode, Demarquiae Goode, Demarquez Townsend-Rallins, James Nelson, Zay Caldwell, Adrian Brown and wife Alicia, Alex Brown, Ashley Andrews, Jamarion Mixon, Shaquanna McCall, Adena McCall, and Alasia McCall; godbrother, Ahmad Jackson; godsister, Armani Jackson; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. 

Funeral services will be held beginning at 2:00 P.M., Saturday, April 30, 2022, in the chapel of Davis-Watkins Funeral Home, 1474 State Highway 83 North, DeFuniak Springs, Florida 32433. There will be no visitation service. Committal services will follow at Pleasant Grove Cemetery.
