Willie “Olin” Bryan, age 73, passed away Friday, September 13, 2019 in Crestview, Florida. He was born January 20, 1946 in DeFuniak Springs, Florida to Grady Olin and Annie Will Foxhall Bryan. Olin, a man of great faith, dedicated his life to delivering the Word of Salvation to others and worshiping the Lord Jesus Christ. For 32 years, he pastored Bryanville Community Church, preached faithfully at the Chautauqua Nursing Center for more than 10 years, and was the founder and operator of Christ Outreach Mission for 15 years. Olin was Pentecostal by faith.
He is preceded in death by both parents.
Olin is survived by his wife Janice Fay Pigeon Bryan; seven sons, Matthew, Robert and wife Amanda, Eric and wife Dena, John P., Samuel A. and wife Felicia, Stephen I., and Jared S. Bryan and wife Erica; 13 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; brother, Jerry Bryan; sisters, Sue Alford and husband Steve and Patricia Teal and husband Marvin; numerous extended family; and many wonderful friends.
Funeral services will be held Friday, September 20, 2019 in the chapel of Davis-Watkins Funeral Home, 1474 Highway 83 North, DeFuniak Springs, Florida 32433 beginning at 3 p.m. with a time of visitation one hour prior. Olin’s son, Brother Eric Bryan, will be officiating. Committal services will follow in Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church Cemetery with military honors provided by the United States Navy.
