William Jefferson Neal

William “Jeff” Jefferson Neal, 70, of Fort Walton Beach, FL passed away on Monday, September 3, 2018.  Jeff was born in Portsmouth, VA on December 8, 1947 to William Horace and Marietta Neal. He served honorably in the Army during the Vietnam War. He was a lover of music, playing guitar, and Formula 1 racing.

Jeff is survived by his partner of 22 years, Pamela Kaighen of Fort Walton Beach, his stepdaughter, Christina Gammon of Denver, CO, his sister, Peggy Claybrook of Concorde, MA, and his grandchildren, Rebecca and Joseph Dotson of Crestview, FL. He is preceded in death by his father, William Neal, his mother, Marietta Neal, and his stepdaughter, Chelsea Kaighen.

A memorial visitation will be held Friday, September 7, 2018 from 4:00 pm until 6:00 pm at Davis Watkins Funeral Home, 113 Racetrack Road NE, Fort Walton Beach, Florida. Jeff will be interred at Barrancas National Cemetery at a later date.
