William "Keith" Hudson

William “Keith” Hudson, age 64, of DeFuniak Springs, FL passed away on Wednesday, March 20, 2019 after a brief battle with pancreatic cancer.

Keith was born to James and Ellen Hudson in Orlando, Fl.  He was raised in Opp, Al., but called DeFuniak Springs his home.  He lived in the Freeport and DeFuniak area for the past 36 years.  He enjoyed racing boats and cars.  He also enjoyed barbequing, gardening, fishing, spending time with his family, friends and most importantly his grandkids. They brought so much joy to him. He loved to laugh, joke and was an avid lover of animals.

Keith is preceded in death by both parents and his older brother David Hudson.

He is survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Patricia; daughters, Stacey (Ronnie) Marshall of Freeport, Fl.,  Kimberly (Lewis) Taylor of Navarre, Fl. ; son, Ryan Hudson of Opp, Al.; grandchildren, Lane and Ansley Marshall and Peyton and Marshall Taylor; brother, Steve (Kay) Hudson of Opp, Al.; sister, Connie (Kenneth) Robbins of Opp, Al.; sisters-in-law, Linda (Cleve) Yaun, Debbie (Tim) Sconiers, Luann Schley; brothers-in-law, Skip Schley, and Oliver Schley; his beloved twin poodles, Tu’ and Lolli;  two very special friends he considered family, Doyce Burke and Bill Brenke.

A memorial service will be held Wednesday, March 27, 2019 beginning at 11:00 a.m.  at Davis Watkins Funeral Home & Crematory, 1474 Highway 83 N. DeFuniak Springs, FL. The family will receive friends one prior to the service.
