Sharon Lee Wood

Sharon Lee “WoWo” Wood, age 61 of Freeport, FL went to be with the Lord Tuesday, November 19, 2019 at Sacred Heart Hospital in Miramar Beach, FL.

A Memorial Celebration of Life Service will be held Sunday, November 24, 2019 from 1:00 to 3:00PM at 32 Palmetto Rd in Freeport FL, Sharon’s residence.

Sharon was born August 31, 1958 in Heidelburg, Germany.  She was the daughter of the late Clevie David Wood and Mama Sue Dyer Wood.  A graduate of Caledonia High School, Sharon then moved to Freeport, FL and worked for Garrett Realty Services in Seagrove Beach, FL for 15 years.

Sharon loved life and will be remembered for her infectious smile and laugh.  She loved her family dearly.  She also loved NASCAR, “Who Dat” football, and her leggings.

She is survived by her Mother, Mrs. Sue Dyer Wood, PCB (Whom she gave a kidney to in 1998),  Five sisters, Joyce Wood of Santa Rosa Beach, Debbie Proctor (Larry) of PCB, Becky Wood of Freeport, FL, Carolyn Wood Boswell of Santa Rosa Beach, and Judy Wood Willis (Jeff) of Garner, NC.  She left numerous Nieces and Nephews, Great Nieces and Nephews and one great-great Niece.

She is preceded in death by her father, Clevie Wood, two brothers Michael David Wood and Steven Anthony Wood.  In lieu of flowers, Memorials may be made to the American Kidney Fund or Donate Life America (donatelife.net)
