Ronald Lorusso Obituary

Ronald Patrick Lorusso, age 70, of Shalimar, FL, entered into Heaven on June 8, 2018.  He was born on May 13, 1948 in Washington, D.C. 

 

Ron retired as a Master Sergeant after 24 dedicated years of service in the United States Air Force.  He was known for his gardening skills, his kindness and his genuine caring ways helping anyone in need. Ron enjoyed making people laugh and seeing people happy. He loved living life, his loving wife and, most of all, his family.     

 

Ron is survived by his wife of 44 years, Carolyn Lorusso of Shalimar, FL; sons, Ronald (Caroline) Lorusso, II of Melbourne, FL, and Christopher (Andrea) Lorusso of Fort Walton Beach, FL; daughter, Kelly (David) Torres of Shalimar, FL; mother, Harriet Lorusso of Fort Walton Beach, FL; and grandchildren, Jekhari Lorusso, Jalissa Lorusso, Emma Torres and Finn Torres; and many extended family members and friends.  He was preceded in death by his father, Giacomo Lorusso; sister, Pamela Fraizer; and granddaughter, Gianna Lorusso.

 

Funeral services will be held at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 1 Meigs Drive, Shalimar, FL 32579, on Thursday, June 14, 2018 at 12:00 p.m. with Rev. Ray Angerman officiating.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Burial with full military honors will follow at Beal Memorial Cemetery.
