Robert Robin Anderson

Robert Robin Anderson, age 66, a resident of DeFuniak Springs, Florida, passed away Friday, March 29, 2019 at his home.  He was born February 28, 1953 in DeFuniak to his loving mother, Mattie Anderson.  Over the years, he attended both Macedonia Baptist Church as well as Union Springs Missionary Baptist and was well known throughout the community.  He served six years in the United States Army before he was medically discharged.  He was loved by his family and his presence will be missed.

He is preceded in death by his dear mother, Mattie Anderson and one brother, Lenn Washington.

Robert is survived by three children, Shawana Battles, Cory Anderson, and Reggie White; one sister, Jean Curry; one brother, Wilmer Anderson; four grandchildren; one aunt, Julia Goodman; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 6, 2019 in the chapel of Davis-Watkins Funeral Home, 1474 Highway 83 North, DeFuniak Springs, Florida 32433 beginning at 11:00 a.m. with a time of visitation at 10:00 a.m.  Pastor A. M. Johnson will be officiating.
