Paula Beth (Bolduc) Demers

Paula Beth (Bolduc) Demers, age 62, went to be with the Lord after fighting a 10 day battle against cancer while being surrounded by her husband and family on August 21, 2019.  She was born in Waterville, Maine on October 7, 1956 to Norris and Irene Bolduc.  Paula married the love of her life, Gerry Demers, on June 7, 1975 in Bangor, Maine. She supported Gerry during his military career traveling around the world, they eventually settled down in Crestview, Florida.  She had a full life raising six children along with fostering over 50 children.  Paula served the Lord faithfully by leading women’s Bible studies, teaching others to care for themselves, and volunteering at Crestview’s Sharing and Caring.  Her passion for her country was only second to advocating for the unborn children; giving a voice to those who did not have one. 

Paula is survived by her husband of 44 years, Gerry A. Demers;  her children, Thomas P. Demers (Johanna), Jacob D. Demers (Amanda), Joshua L. Demers, Nicole R. Knight (Joseph), David N. Demers (Sabrina), Rebekah S. Farmer (Josh); her twelve grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and five siblings, Peter Bolduc, Roxanne Lee, Christine Schneider, Beth Hart, and Tim Bolduc.  She is preceded in death by her parents, Norris Bolduc and Irene Bolduc; and her granddaughter, Skyla Demers. 

The family will receive friends at Davis-Watkins Funeral Home, 113 Racetrack Road NE, Fort Walton Beach, Florida, 32547, on Friday, August 23, 2019 from 5 pm to 7 pm.  Funeral services will be held in the chapel of Davis-Watkins Funeral Home on Saturday, August 24, 2019 at 1 pm officiated by Reverend Cecil Williams and Tim Bolduc.  Pallbearers are son, Thomas Demers; son, Jacob Demers; brother, Peter Bolduc; brother, Tim Bolduc; brother-in-law, Roy Lee; and brother-in-law, Bobby Schneider.  Interment will follow at Beal Memorial Cemetery.
