Patrick Courtney Remele

Patrick (Pat) Courtney Remele, age 71, of Fort Walton Beach, FL, passed away peacefully at his home on Friday, January 11, 2019. He was born in Los Angeles, CA on March 19, 1947 to Dorretta (Clausen) and Courtney Albert Remele.

Pat was a resident of Fort Walton Beach over 50 years, lived in New Orleans, LA for a brief time, was a graduate of the University of West Florida and was co-owner of a local vending business with his brother, Bruce.

Pat enjoyed riding and working on motorcycles, playing guitar, sailing and spending time with his many friends.

He is survived by his daughter, Shannon Geiger and husband, John of Madison, AL; step-son, Ryan Ferrario of Redondo Beach, CA; step-daughter, Ashley Ferrario of New Orleans, LA and their mother, Cindy Ferrario of New Orleans, LA; granddaughters, Courtney Geiger of Memphis, TN; Ashton Geiger of Florence, AL and Milan Diggs of New Orleans, LA; brother, Bruce Remele and wife, Barbara of Destin, FL; niece, Nicole (Remele) Atwell and husband, Cliff of Destin, FL and great-nephews, C.J. and Austin Atwell and great-niece, Eliza Atwell.

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, February 2, 2019, 2:00 pm at Immanuel Anglican Church, 250 Indian Bayou Trail, Destin, FL 32541 where Pat was an active member.  All family and friends are invited to attend.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial gifts be made to the American Cancer Society, www.cancer.org or church or charity of your choice.

A special thanks to Emerald Coast Hospice for the wonderful care they gave Pat in his final days. They were such a blessing and help to him and the family.
