Pamela Ann Magle Allen

Pamela Ann Magle Allen, 68, of Mary Esther, FL passed away on Friday, April 6, 2018 at Fort Walton Beach Medical Center in Fort Walton Beach, Florida. She was born on August 6, 1949 to Leonard and Martha Magle in Miami, Florida.

Pam was raised in Miami, FL where after a few years of graduating from Catholic High School, class of 1967, she met and married Lars Allen after he returned from serving in Vietnam with the United States Air Force in 1972. Upon relocating to Mary Esther, FL they raised their family, spending nearly 45 years together.

Pam worked in communications for the local phone company until retiring in 1998, which allowed her the ability to spend more time with her grandchildren. Pam loved to travel and was an avid animal lover and Miami Dolphins fan. She enjoyed crocheting, sewing, collecting music, but spending time with family and friends was important to her. Pam & Lars donated to multiple organizations throughout the years, while always keeping an eye open for ones truly in need that could be helped somehow, while also being an advocate for Mental Health treatment, support and awareness. 

Pam is preceded in death by her husband, Lars Ralph Allen.

She is survived by her children, Wendy Pyle and Janice Allen; grandchildren, Thomas Krohn, Jenni Krohn, Haylee Gregory, Brandon Pyle, Naleena Allen; great granddaughter, Mylah Polazzo and her siblings, Thomas Magle, Hamilton Magle.

A memorial visitation will be held from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 12, 2018 at Davis-Watkins Funeral Home, 113 Racetrack Road, N.E. Fort Walton Beach, Florida.
