Norma (Legg) Sulaski

July 8, 1928 ~ December 31, 1969 (age 41)

Norma (Legg) Sulaski of Miramar Beach, Fla., died of complications of Alzheimer's on Aug. 30. She was 91.

Norma grew up in Hobbs, Ind., and lived in Chicago; Buffalo Grove, Ill.; West Des Moines, Iowa; and Batavia, Ill., before retiring in Destin. Survivors include her children, Alyson Sulaski Wyckoff (Harold O. Wyckoff Jr., D.D.S.), of Des Plaines, Ill. and Thomas A. Sulaski, of Destin; and grandchildren Whitney B. Wyckoff, of Washington, D.C., and Kenton C. Wyckoff, of Tucson, Ariz. Norma was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Ernest; parents Ruth and Clinton Legg, of Hobbs; and sister Eileen Howe, of Bath, N.Y.

Known for her warm smile and friendly manner, Norma had many creative talents, including cooking, decorating and needlepoint. She loved to read, had an artistic eye and was a clever shopper.

When she was first married and living in Chicago, Norma attended the renowned Antoinette Pope cooking school. Over the years, she held several administrative/secretarial positions.

Norma’s family was precious to her, and she had an innate ability to make friends with everyone.
