Mary Lois (Knight) Sparks

Mary Lois Sparks, 87, passed away, Thursday, July 12, 2018. Mary Lois was raised in Wauchula, FL to parents, Earl and Beatrice Knight.

Mary Lois was long time resident of Fort Walton Beach, settling here with her husband’s career in the Air Force. Together they were general building contractors in the area.

She is survived by her son, David Sparks (Mary Lee); daughter, Karen Sparks-Blankinship (Mike); three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Mary Lois is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Kenneth E.  “Sparky” Sparks; son, Steven Sparks and brother, James Knight.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 17, 2018 beginning 10:00 a.m. at Davis-Watkins Funeral Home, 113 Racetrack Road, N.E. Fort Walton Beach, FL 32547 with a visitation starting at 9:30 a.m.

Internment will follow at Beal Memorial Cemetery, 316 Beal Parkway, N.W. Fort Walton Beach, FL
