Marilyn Sizemore Obituary

Marilyn L. Sizemore, of Fort Walton Beach, passed away on October 29, 2019. Marilyn was born on March 14, 1936, in Springvale, Maine, the daughter of the late Ralph and Alice (Townsend) Stanley. Marilyn was a legal secretary for over 18 years at the law firm of Mead Law and Title.  She was a longtime member of First Baptist Church of Mary Esther and played the piano there for many years.  She enjoyed crocheting and cooking for her family and friends.

Marilyn was preceded in death by her husband, Clifford Sizemore; and stepchildren, Clifford (Jimmy) Sizemore, Fred Sizemore, Betty Jo Short and her husband, Lee; brothers, Roland Stanley and his wife, Fod, and Ralph Stanley.

She is survived by her children, Sharon Orcutt and her husband, Stephen, Linda Blackmon, Glen Wentworth and his wife, Karen; and stepchildren, Connie Jones, Kenneth Sizemore and his wife, Lynn; brother, Malcolm Stanley; sister-in-law, Eleanor Stanley; and 14 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, October 31, 2019 at First Baptist Church Mary Esther. Visitation will begin at 12:00 P.M. with services to be held at 1:00 P.M.

Marilyn will be laid to rest at Barrancas National Cemetery on Monday, November 4, 2019 at 11:00 A.M.
