In 1942, born to Kristin Olsen and Herry Clough in her homeland of Iceland, the world gained an amazingly strong woman. October 21, 2018, the heavens gained that same woman but now as an angel. Margaret “Daisy” Fureigh, came to America in hopes of living the American dream. Here in America, she met her husband of 50 years, John Robert Fureigh. Her eldest son, Wayne Gray, gave her 3 grandchildren; Brett Gray, Scott Gray and Tricia Turley. Brett Gray gave Daisy a great granddaughter, Emma Gray; and Tricia Turley and her husband, Davidge Turley gave her a great grandson, Aiden Turley. Daisy's second son, Daniel Joe Fureigh and his wife Shannon Fureigh always gave Daisy something to be proud of. She always carried the latest newspaper clipping of Danny's achievements in her purse to show to whomever she saw. Danny had 2 boys; Taylor Daniel Fureigh and Cameron Hensley. Cameron gave Daisy a great grandson, Foster. Daisy's first daughter gave her 4 grandchildren; Travis Fureigh, Brittany Dixon, Trevor Dixon, and Ashley Dixon. Cheryl's eldest son Travis gave Daisy 2 great grandkids, Jaiden and Jonavan Fureigh. John and Daisy had their youngest daughter, Sonya Hernandez right before leaving Michigan and enjoying some sunshine in Florida, where they lived the rest of their years together. Sonya Hernandez and Victor Hernandez gave Daisy 4 grandchildren whom she was very proud of; twin boys Jullian and Jordan Hernandez, age 13, Jacoby Hernandez, age,12 and little Miss Janae “Daisy” Hernandez, age 7.
Daisy will forever be remembered as living a full life, always speaking her mind, and being brutally honest. Everybody that met Daisy instantly had a bond that could not be broken. She was tough, cursed like a sailor, and loved harder and stronger than anyone you'll ever meet.
There will be no official service or viewing per Daisy's request, but the family is asking that you celebrate her life each and every day.
