Lourdes Jimenez

Lourdes Jimenez, age 40, a resident of DeFuniak Springs, Florida passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, November 19, 2019.  She was born September 14, 1979 to Maria Del Refugio Jimenez De la Torre and Manuel Yovis Valvanera.  Lourdes enjoyed cooking, was family oriented, fun- loving, and always had a kind heart willing to help out others.

She is preceded in death by her mother; dear sister, Socorro Yovis Jimenez; and her brother, Isidro Yovis Jimenez. 
Lourdes is survived by four children who were the most important in her life, her daughter Gisselle and her three sons, Braden, Kaleb, and Aiden; five brothers, David, Dionisio, Hector, Miguel, and Jose de Jesus; two sisters, Aida and Rosario; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A time of visitation will be held Monday, November 25, 2019 in the chapel of Davis-Watkins Funeral Home, 1474 Highway 83 North, DeFuniak Springs, Florida 32433 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00.  A memorial service will be held Tuesday, November 26, 2019 at Davis-Watkins Funeral Home beginning at 10:00 a.m. with Reverend Father Richard Dawson officiating. Committal services will follow at Magnolia Cemetery.
