Leo Burnham

Leo Burnham, age 86, of Freeport, Florida passed away Sunday, June 16, 2019.  He was born September 22, 1932 to Grover and Carline Boone Burnham.  Leo, entered into life, lived, and entered into death, all in Freeport.  He was known to be a hard-working man who his family could depend on for support.

He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Vera Burnham; one son, Tyrone K. Burnham, and three siblings, Ruby, Earl, and Leslie.

Leo is survived by three children: Stephen A. Burnham, Jeanine Moody and husband Doug, and Rhnea Fiegel and husband Gordy, all of Freeport; six grandchildren, Missy, Gene, Jon, Chris, Brittany, and Nick; eighteen great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; three brothers, Howard, Wilburn, and David; and four sisters, Marie, Barbara, Agnis, and Gladys.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 22, 2019 at First United Pentecostal Church of Freeport, located on 391 South Jackson Street, beginning at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Christopher Black and Brother Horace McCormick officiating.  Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m.  Committal services will follow in Hatcher Cemetery.
