James Madrid Fallon, 36, went home to our Lord and Savior on March 2, 2019. James was born on October 31, 1982 at Eglin AFB to (Ret.) Major Richard (Dicke) Fallon and Diana Fallon.
Being the youngest of four children, James was by no means the “baby” of the family. Naturally athletic, he excelled in every sport he participated in, lettering in football, wrestling, and track all through high school at Fort Walton Beach High School, voting him a Norseman and “Most Athletic” his senior year (Go Vikings!). He also received the Lamp of knowledge, Academic Letter, & Who’s Who among American High School Students earning him a full ride scholarship to Charleston Southern University in Charleston, South Carolina.
James was always an avid outdoorsman. From childhood, building forts with his brothers and sister, to riding Harleys in Sturgis, to fishing trips to Cuba with friends making sure to pick up a few “special” cigars for his grandpa. He was an adventurer and true thrill seeker. James had a heart of gold and beautiful love for his family and abundance of friends.
James is survived by his father, (Ret.) Major Dicke Fallon and mother, Diana Fallon; brothers, Joshua and Jacob Fallon; sister, Jessie (& Leo) Jacobs and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephew and his sweet kitty Butters.
There will be a memorial service at 4:00 pm, Friday, March 8, 2019 at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 1 Meigs Dr, Shalimar, FL. 32579. There will be a reception immediately following in the reception hall.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to S.O.C.K.s of Ft. Walton in James’ memory.
