Irene Elizabeth Bolduc

April 19, 1936 -March 7, 2019

On Thursday, March 07, 2019, Irene Elizabeth Bolduc fought her final battle with Alzheimer’s surrounded by her family and won, as she entered heaven and was greeted by her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ completely whole.  No matter how hard it tried, this disease could not dim her faith.  Common things may have slipped her thoughts, but ask her about Jesus, the Bible or prayer and she would more than keep up with the topic.

Irene will always be remembered for her love of family, church, picture taking, cinnamon candies and showing the love of Jesus to everyone, including perfect strangers while shopping. There was always room at her table for one more.  She made ordinary days special and holidays were full of love, laughter, food, friends and singing.

Waiting for her in heaven was the love of her life, Norris T. Bolduc; her parents, Irene and Cecil Grant; her siblings, Ernest Grant, Edna Michaud, and Alice Decker; and her great-granddaughter, Skyla Demers.

Left behind to carry on the legacy of faith are her six (6) children, Paula and Gerry Demers, Peter N Bolduc, Roxanne and Roy Lee, Christine and Bobby Schneider, Beth and Tracy Hart, and Tim and Kim Bolduc.  Her legacy continues to the next generation with her 22 grandchildren and her 23 great-grandchildren.

Friends and family will be gathering on Sunday, March 10, 2019 from 3:00- 5:00pm at Davis-Watkins Funeral Home, 113 NE Racetrack Rd, Fort Walton Beach, FL, to share memories.   A celebration service will be on Tuesday, March 12, 2019 at 1pm at Gateway City Church….428 Racetrack Rd NE, Fort Walton Beach, FL. 32547
