George Albert DeCoste, Jr., “Big G,” age 51, of Fort Walton Beach, Florida, passed away on Tuesday November 6, 2018 at home while resting. He was born September 29, 1967 in South Hadley, Massachusetts to George Albert DeCoste Sr. and Marjorie Sobolewski. He was married October 7, 1989 to his loving wife Joyce and they celebrated 29 years of marriage this year. He owned his own landscape/hauling business for 20+ years in the Fort Walton Beach area. He loved to fish, put together puzzles, and get whipped while playing rummy.
He is survived by his wife, Joyce; son, George and his wife, Leslie; daughter, Angelica and her fiance, Abby; grandson, Hunter; and grandaughter, Erica; mother, Marjorie Korb; sisters, Donna Clements and Janice Graves; and his dog, Bo. He was preceded in death by his father, George Albert DeCoste Sr.
A memorial visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 13, 2018 from 5 pm to 7 pm at Davis-Watkins Funeral Home, 113 NE Racetrack Road, Fort Walton Beach, Florida.
